Description

SEMCARE aims at building a semantic data platform that can be used for patient identification in clinical studies and for diagnosis support, with a special focus on rare disorders. The platform will integrate state-of-the-art text mining technologies and multilingual semantic resources in three languages (English, German, Dutch). Three hospitals in the UK, Austria, and the Netherlands (Erasmus MC) serve as pilot sites, implementing and testing the system.
