Dr. Herman van Haagen was born in Breda, the Netherlands, on July 26, 1979. He obtained his master degree in Electrical Engineering at the Delft University of Technology. His main interest is in the field of information and communication theory, especially bioinformatics. In Spring of 2011 he obtained his PhD in text- and data-mining for in silico knowledge discovery. Today Herman is working as a scientific programmer in various projects. Besides science he love to play the drums. | |||
